Interesting article

The IBT Airline Mechanics blog from Denver has an interesting article by Doug Cameron of the Dow Jones newswires. The article talks about the possibility of joint negotiations prior to the merger's completion. Here is a link to the article. As I understand it, there are only two groups not facing representational elections as a result of the merger. Those two groups would be the pilots and mechanics. My guess after reading the article, is that these two groups would be the most likely candidates of early talks.
